Liz Klinger

Liz is a certified Rolfer and practices Acutonics. Since childhood, Liz has been fascinated by how the world works. She has always loved the outdoors for fueling her creative spirit. Through the natural world, she grew interested in the connection between healing, art and spirit. Liz found the practice of Rolfing and Acutonics while searching to find healing for her body. She was born with pneumonia and incurred a back. injury at the age of five that guided her to find the most practical and least invasive way to cure her ailments. These practices opened a door for her to develop a new relationship with herself and her environment that continues to evolve through time.

Liz believes a person’s blueprint for health can be accessed through Rolfing and Acutonics as these therapies reconnect us to the core memory of our nervous systems. Whether it’s those who are in pain or individuals looking to improve self awareness, Rolfing and Acutonics serve everyone. Liz is happy to share her knowledge and practice with all.

Rolfing – Structural Integration is a way of working with connective tissue on a physical, structural, energetic, and emotional level. It has a long history of happy patients dating back to the mid-20th century, when it was founded by Dr. Ida P. Rolf. A session involves listening to the body with patience to enable the tangled myofascial meridians to unravel and open to their true connected nature again. As Rolfers, we know that the body is self- organizing, but sometimes needs a nudge (movement techniques) or a hug (creating a three dimensional container) to know that the path is safe again. “The unit is disrupted by acute or chronic activities: A twisting of the ankle, a fracture, trauma, or ‘bad’ posture. These are some causes that create fixed patterns of behavior in the body that resist fluidity of movement. “The friction of the flesh interferes with the energy flow that is the essence of life.” – Dr.Ida Rolf. Rolfing improves posture and decreases tension and pain through retraining postural and locomotor systems. The benefits are long lasting after the work is complete. Using a slow and intelligent touch, Rolfing lengthens and reorganizes the body’s connective tissue to allow for freedom of expressions within the 3D plane that we live in. Rolfing is truly a holistic process of perceptual awareness and structural change that is meant to not only improve physical well-being, but also overall wellness. Liz believes a persons blueprint for health can be accessed through Rolfing and can be of service to everyone.

The application of Acutonics®  forks is an integrated approach to health care grounded in Oriental medicine, psychology, science, cosmological studies and sound healing principles. This effective non-invasive methodology works with vibratory energy created through sound. The sounds of planetary bodies are brought into the clinical setting through the use of precision calibrated tuning forks, symphonic gongs, and hand chimes. This approach to health and wellness embraces the concept of a musical and undivided universe. A belief found through time, across cultures, and many healing and spiritual traditions, where numerous references cite the power of sound to create, generate, transform, and give birth to new ideas and new consciousness. The sounds of the Universe are brought into health care through the use of precision calibrated planetary tuning forks and symphonic planetary gongs. Acupressure points and chakras provide noninvasive access into these core energy systems within the body. The planets provide musical intervals, archetypes, psychological depth, and correspondences that help us to fine-tune the therapeutic frequencies that are applied to the body.
